In college my professor encouraged me to go to Italy to study stone carving. When I returned I continued working with stone at the New School and School of Visual Arts. I continue to take classes and workshops to engage with other artists in my field and share the joy of my passion.
My work is a labor of love and I have just recently began exhibiting my work for show. My first show was at Agora Gallery in NYC in July 2014. I hope to continue showing my work in the future so others can see that stone carving is still a beautiful art. I strive to show emotion, mystery, and something that speaks to everyone's inner self. I also like to work with light, lines, positive and negative spaces.
