ARTIST'S STATEMENT

I received my MA in Studio Art from NYU in 1995, and my BFA from Moore College of Art, Phila in 1978. I went to the School of Visual Arts to study with Milton Glaser in the summer of 1988. I am a curator at the Art Alliance in Red Bank, NJ, a co-op gallery. I teach printmaking workshops, and have taught printmaking at Monmouth University from1999-2002, and art history at Brookdale Community College from 1999-2000. I was an art director for 12 years.

I have had solo shows at Beauregard Fine Art, Rumson, NJ in 2007 and 2005. I have also had solo shows at The Dwek Theatre, Long Branch, NJ, in 2005; the Arts Council in Princeton, 2004; The Kimmel Center of Performing Arts, Moore College Gallery, Philadelphia, 2003; and Johnson & Johnson World Headquarters, New Brunswick, NJ, 2002. Selected group exhibitions over the past 7 years include- Lehman Maupin Gallery, NYC, "Unframed/First Look"; The Minnesota National Print Biennial; 80 Washington Square East Galleries, NYC; Shore Institute of Contemporary Art, Long Branch, NJ; Monmouth Museum, Lincroft, NJ; Levy Gallery for the Arts in Phila.; City Without Walls, Newark, NJ; Statewide Juried Exhibition, Art Alliance, Red Bank, NJ; William Paterson University, The Biennial at Ben Shahn Galleries; Moore College of Art & Design, Phila.
